All-in-one Advisor Technology Platform

For this proprietary platform for financial advisors, I coordinated 18 months of development, including: discovery & requirements; wireframes & mockups; development & feedback; testing & optimization; pilot & release; and ongoing maintenance.

Results

To-date, the platform has saved time for more than 1,200 users by consolidating four platforms into one, streamlining submission processes, and making it easier to find accurate information.

Business Owner Dashboard

Independent financial advisors wear two hats: advisor and business owner. I led the discovery, wireframing, user story identification, and interface design for a dashboard featuring client, account, household, and valuation metrics to drive a business owner mindset.

Results

This dashboard became the starting point for a comprehensive business owner platform currently serving more than 10,000 advisors and their offices.

Technology Platform Launch Campaign

With more than 50% of financial advisors self-identifying as late adopters of technology, driving adoption of a new all-in-one advisor technology platform—that would replace 4 existing platforms—was an uphill climb. I designed, wrote, built, and excuted a 3-month multi-channel campaign to drive adoption of the new platform.

Results

The campaign resulted in 72% adoption in the first 3 months.

Investment Platform New Asset Campaign

I managed, wrote, and executed a 5-month multi-channel campaign to drive platform adoption and new assets for a proprietary investment management platform. This campaign was designed to bust myths about model portfolios, custom indexing, and third-party management.

Results

This campaign resulted in a 63% increase in users and more than $100 million in new advisory assets on the platform.

Event App Installation

The Problem

The problem? A specific technology-hindered demographic was having trouble installing multiple apps needed to engage at our in-person events.

The Solution

We built an interactive step-by-step application to help users install the apps, customized by platform and device. I crafted user stories, wrote content, wireframed the application, and hired the developer.

Results

The introduction of the application led to 88% app adoption, a 25% increase over previous events.

Interactive Pricing Calculator

The Problem

The feedback was clear: pricing for our wealth management platform was confusing and damn near impossible to understand.

The Solution

Tasked with demystifying the pricing structure, I collaborated with subject matter experts to develop a straightforward interactive calculator that allowed current and prospective advisors to calculate platform pricing tailored to their businesses.

Results

There was a reported 50% reduction in pricing-related inbound calls and survey results showed a 60% decrease in pricing dissatisfaction.
